After death, the doctor．人死医生来。
这谚语省了动词，完整的讲法应该是After death comes the doctor。谚语用了比喻，意思是劝告人们任何事情都要早有准备，特别是救急，更是刻不容缓。
还有一些谚语用了其他比喻表示同样意思：
