Knowledge is power．知识就是力量。
这句完整的意思是“知识是力量的源泉（source）”。本谚语却把这一概念只浓缩为三个字，虽然很简单，意思却更明确，收到修辞效果。
为了说明知识的重要，可以和其他比较具体的事物联系起来讲，下面的谚语就是和金银财富联系起来讲的：
